$35.00/hr-$45.00/hr (depending on experience) Location:
Mesa, AZ 85212 Hours:
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (some OT may be required) Bilingual Electrical Foreman Responsibilities: Supervision & Leadership: Lead and manage a team of electricians and laborers on-site, ensuring tasks are completed safely and to high standards. Provide guidance and training to junior electrical team members. Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Assign and delegate tasks to crew members according to skills and project needs. Project Management & Coordination: Review project plans and specifications to ensure proper execution and adherence to timelines. Coordinate with other trades and departments to minimize delays and ensure project progress. Monitor material requirements and notify procurement of any shortages. Perform quality checks to ensure all electrical installations and work meet safety and technical standards. Communication: Serve as a liaison between English-speaking and non-English-speaking workers, ensuring clear and effective communication across the team. Translate technical instructions and safety guidelines as needed. Report daily progress and issues to the Project Manager or Superintendent. Conduct meetings and provide project updates in both languages as required. Electrical Work: Oversee electrical installations, including wiring, circuit breakers, lighting systems, electrical panels, and other components. Ensure that work complies with local codes and regulations. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions. Ensure proper documentation and records for all electrical work performed. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards and OSHA regulations. Conduct safety inspections and address any potential hazards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Bilingual Electrical Foreman Qualifications: Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or technical degree preferred). Minimum 7 years of experience as an electrician, with at least 5 years in a foreman or supervisory role. Certifications: Valid Electrical License (Journeyman or Master Electrician, as required by local jurisdiction). OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification (preferred). Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to translate technical instructions and communicate effectively in both languages. Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
