The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to support our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable USAF to transition focus from network operations to mission operations. The Sr. ServiceNow Engineer will support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop self-hosted ServiceNow instances in support of an on-prem environment supporting the USAF.

Support configuring, developing, and optimizing ServiceNow ITSM capabilities within the platform.

Act as a key contributor with integrations and data within the ServiceNow system.

Provide technical specification and implementation of ServiceNow integrations across multiple source systems.

Provide expertise on technical components related to development and integrations on ServiceNow.

Develop the technical solutions, implements them, and performs the component integration tests.

Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes and build this into the design.

Understand the large scale thinking and approach needed for success of the project.

Create and manage scripts, flows, business rules, APIs, and other ServiceNow coded capabilities within the platform.

Integrate external data sources into ServiceNow.

Build custom dashboards based on custom application data models and external data sources.

Leads integration of new products based on client requirements.

Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.

Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.

Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.

Instruct, assign, direct and check the work of others on the development team.

Participate in development of software user manuals and technical reports.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelors Degree and 11 or more years of relevant experience. Will consider experience in lieu of a degree.

Must be willing working on site in Chantilly, VA (no hybrid work schedule).

Must meet 8570/8140 DoD Cyber Workforce Compliance requirement – have or obtain within 60 days of hire IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), Certified Network Defender (CND), CCNA Security, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), etc) .

Advanced experience with ServiceNow implementations.

Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM and ITSM modules - Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management.

Advanced level understanding of ServiceNow required.

Advanced level programming skills.

A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL and CMDB

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic

Demonstrated skill to implement on time to a Project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

JavaScript/AngularJS development experience.

System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP.

Understands technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow.

Current and active DoD Secret clearance

Desired:

Strong communication, Strong presentation and writing skills.

Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.

Organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment

Current IAT Level II certification - CompTIA Security+ CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), Certified Network Defender (CND), CCNA Security, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), etc

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
