Description
SAIC is seeking a SharePoint Developer with metrics and data visualization expertise. The individual shall design, build, and curate SharePoint-based and cloud-hosted information repositories, as well as manage information and develop data visualization products for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s Strategic Trends Office. The mission of the Strategic Trends Office is to generate insights into strategic threat trends and emerging S&T issues within the counter-WMD mission space to enable and guide warfighter understanding. Work will be conducted on the government site at FT Belvoir, VA.
· Design, build, and curate SharePoint-based and cloud-hosted information repositories using InfoPath and/or Power Apps.
· Create data visualization products using PowerPoint and Excel.
· Build and curate internal data repositories on SharePoint to ensure sharing, archival, and access to data.
· Tag content for ease of retrieval and discovery on public and internal sharing venues.
· Develop user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.
· Contribute to the look and design of SharePoint and the Agency’s externally facing website and online offerings.
· Create information graphics and digital illustrations for a variety of DTRA mission-related products.
· Import information from sources such as Excel for display into sophisticated visualizations.
· Organize and manage multiple projects, communicate with customers, and present data visualizations to leadership.
· Support knowledge management strategies, processes, and training programs.
· Analyze processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
· Collaborate with project managers to understand business needs and requirements.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
· BA/BS degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience. Master’s Degree and 3 years of experience.
· SECRET clearance is required. All applicants must be able to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
· Skilled in the Microsoft Office Suite of products, especially SharePoint, Excel, and Access.
· Ability to translate complex concepts into easily accessible and understandable visual depictions.
· Proficient research and analytical skills.
Desired Skills:
· Experience developing and managing SharePoint-based forms using InfoPath and/or Power Apps.
· Knowledge of commonly used web developing language MicroStrategy Dashboards, and Power BI. (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, Java, Flex, Flash, AngularJS, jQuery, PHP, JSP, ASP.Net, Python, and AJAX) as well as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Military experience, or experience with contracting or the federal government.
