What you'll do
  • Trouble shoot, repair, maintain, and install program electrical/electronic equipment.
  • Responsible for maintenance and repair of mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
  • Generate and implement continuous improvement ideas for plant maintenance.
  • Follow local, state and federal electrical codes.
  • Assist with preventative and predictive maintenance task as needed.
  • Hands on work ethic in a cross functional environment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
What you need to succeed
  • Related education in electrical field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing electrician position.
  • Working Knowledge of Siemens S7 and S5.
  • PLC understanding and programming a plus (Current equipment Siemens PC/PLCs Allen Bradley).
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and parts specifications.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and general mechanical.
  • Demonstrated trouble shooting skills.
  • Knowledge and use of CMMS program.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives.
