Job Description Summary

Provides Information Technology related support for software systems used throughout the Agua Interactive gaming environment, including troubleshooting, user management, and customization. Executes work effort associated with project plans relative to upgrading or enhancing systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

(other duties may be assigned) Serves as initial point of contact for assigned application problems, including the ability to: analyze problems, diagnose and find root cause and either resolve the problem or work with vendors and others capable of resolving it. Assists Senior Manager, Interactive Gaming Technology with research related to creating the company's interactive, mobile and social gaming strategy. Takes ownership of support calls for assigned applications through to resolution. Analyzes and defines user requirements and translates them into clear and concise system requirements. Collaborates with project and external vendor teams to ensure continuity and traceability across requirements, design, and testing. Reviews test and implementation plans and coordinates and supports user acceptance testing. Reviews system procedures, guidelines and technical documentation of new systems. Assists with upgrades, enhancements and implementation of current and new assigned applications. Coordinates the development and implementation of training programs to assist with daily operations. Works closely with related IT groups on updating the status of assigned work orders. Fosters and maintains effective collaborative relationships with business units and technical staff. Ensures proper preventative maintenance and all necessary monitoring is performed and audited on assigned applications. Maintains documentation for assigned applications. Makes recommendations to Senior Manager, Interactive Gaming Technology on upgrades and/or hardware replacement for assigned applications. Works with other IT department groups on the installation and maintenance of operating systems related to applications systems. Provides excellent guest service in a timely manner to both guest and internal clients. Ensures compliance with all applicable Agua Caliente System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures and all Tribal Regulations. Supervisory Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

A minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a casino gaming environment required, interactive gaming experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge with either a major land-based casino management system or interactive gaming player account management system. Demonstrated analytical skills, including aptitude towards problem identification, resolution and comprehension and interpretation of technical procedures. Previous experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects. Exposure to large, complex, IT projects. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, diverse, multiple stakeholder environment Knowledge of collection software applications, ability to analyze data through SQL, queries or other such tools, awareness of computer technologies and interface techniques. Ability to work with fixed deadlines while transparently and consistently reporting on progress. Exposure to databases, reporting tools and data manipulating techniques Must have excellent communication skills, good organizational skills as well as interpersonal skills. Ability to work outside normal business hours as required. Reliable transportation required. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the officearea and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.

Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
