Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, (MS/MBA or higher-level degree preferred).
4+ years' work experience in an analytical or software development capacity, or equivalent experience; including testing and validation.
Proficiency in working with stakeholders in capturing business and data requirements; including metric / KPI development.
Proficiency in SQL, ETL, and data analysis tools.
Experience with data visualization tools (i.e., Power BI).
Experience with agile software development methodologies preferred.
Experience with business process re-engineering concepts and methods preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Deep knowledge of data mapping/journey analysis and documentation methods.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (i.e., SQL, Python, etc.).
Familiarity with data integration techniques and tools (e.g. dbt, Boomi, Informatica)
Familiarity with cloud data warehousing platforms (e.g. Snowflake)
Understanding of data modeling and database design.
Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
Understanding of data security practices and the ability to ensure data protection and compliance.
Deep knowledge of agile software development methodologies and best practices.
Deep knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Proven ability to work in a dynamic, varied, and fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.

Senior IT Data Warehouse Analyst
with the Carrix IT team with SSA Marine, you will be part of a cross-functional team involved in data and analytics who apply their passion for technology to solving real-world problems. You will use your creativity and analytical skills to affect change in a global industry, working within a cross-functional, agile-oriented team performing source system analyses, establishing business/data requirements and documentation, developing process flow models and other data-related deliverables, and ensuring client needs are considered throughout the data journey and lifecycle. Engaging regularly with both internal stakeholders and external clients, you will leverage active listening and problem-solving skills to improve processes, software, and technology solutions, ultimately delivering value by solving complex business problems for clients worldwide.
Engaging with clients, internal stakeholders, and the technical community via workshops, meetings, interviews, etc., to capture technical requirements and specifications.
Identify and document source systems, data structures, and data quality issues.
Define data mapping and transformation rules to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
Integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Develop data dictionaries and other metadata.
Work closely with data engineers, analytic engineers, and data analysts to ensure data extraction and transformation align with business needs.
Develop and execute data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity.
Participate in the design and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
Serving as a primary contact point for questions related to how a product, solution, or technology supports or enables work activities in a business process.
Engaging with clients, internal stakeholders, and technical SMEs to define the business rules that products and solutions need to support.
Leveraging systems analysis models and diagrams, such as activity diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, etc., to solve problems.
Developing specifications, diagrams, data mappings, flowcharts, and other artifacts for engineering teams.
Recommending changes to existing solutions, platforms, and products, identifying impacted interfaces, and working with technical teams to implement and test changes.
Verifying if software, products, and/or services meet the client and organizational needs and goals.
Coaches others and applies advanced and strategic use of concepts and practices to complete assignments of moderate to high complexity with minimal direction.
Working as a willing and valued team member accountable for achieving OKRs that drive organizational and client success.
Create and manage against OKRs.
End-User training on Analytical tools and dashboards.
