The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer will support the management of projects from start to finish with high quality output. They will assist with initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing projects effectively within schedule and cost constraints. Collect and report on program status to relevant stakeholders. The Project Engineer will be cross functional and capable of performing design and manufacturing tasks in support of project goals.

The Project Engineer will:
- Engage with WI resource managers to manage and direct the assigned program resources to best meet program objectives
- Work closely with Project Leadership to maintain schedule and scope
- Aid Manufacturing Leadership to support development of discrepancy free processes with PPAP verification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering
- Practical project and engineering design, analysis and manufacturing job knowledge and skills gained with a minimum of 5 years of prior related work experience
- Highly motivated and organized individual who is approachable, a natural planner and a decision maker
- The ability to summarize and present the critical elements of a program, as well as its current status and future plans, is essential
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong experience in both analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Proficiency using NX with Teamcenter
- Possess a working knowledge of gas turbine engines with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of turbomachinery failure modes
- Knowledge of gas turbine engine hardware and associated manufacturing techniques
- Comprehension of electro-mechanical components and Electrical and Mechanical Engineering principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)
- Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
- U. S. citizenship is required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
