Job Duties
Assist with month-end accounting close process Analyze transactions, prepare and post journal entries Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions Prepare cash to revenue reconciliation monthly Generate and review financial reporting from proprietary financial systems Prepare and interpret financial statement analysis Assist with year-end financial audit Compile A/R and revenue transaction support for audit in a timely manner Oversee preparation and distribution of 1099s Ensure compliance with GAAP Initiate wire transfers Prepare manual checks Complies with federal and local legal requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. All other duties as assigned Qualifications
BA/BS in accounting or finance preferred 2-3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel Must have working knowledge of AP and AR Basic accounting knowledge Understanding of accounting best practices Knowledge of U.S GAAP High attention to detail Able to meet deadlines Produce work with a high level of accuracy Professionalism and organization skills Knowledge of QuickBooks and A/R subledger applications Handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner Compensation
