Job Summary:
Legitimate is looking for a Head of Head of Growth Marketing and Partnerships experienced in B2B enterprise marketing and skilled in promoting collaborations in the streetwear, luxury, and fashion/retail sectors. The role requires a blend of tech-savvy marketing and creative execution. You will be playing a key role in not only making sure our technology and partnerships are effectively communicated to target stakeholders, but also ensuring that such partnerships and product launches are leveraged successfully in signing new opportunities and deals.
We are a small and lean team and are looking for a strong, self-starter to help lead and build an all-star marketing team. You will be working closely with our CEO and Sales team to create effective strategies to amplify and support our current partners and product releases with our technology.
Our staff is currently spread between North America and Asia with a focus on Japan. This position is remote and meetings are regularly scheduled in the US and Japan time zones. Flexibility in meeting hours will be required and travel is also mandatory a few times a year for onboarding, in-person planning sessions, client support, and conferences. Salary will be adjusted for location, cost of living, and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the C-Suite to develop and set aggressive marketing objectives to ensure that Legitimate will meet and exceed its annual revenue goals.
Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that maximize conversion with prospective customers (e.g., major fashion brands, enterprises, etc.) and ROI.
Ensure brand alignment and growth of owned social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) using product announcements, co-marketing campaigns, user-generated content, and more.
Be a brand advocate by building strong business relationships with key people in streetwear, luxury, and fashion, and retail industries.
Build the marketing team from the ground up, fostering a culture of empathy, creativity, and strategic thinking.
Build a comprehensive data and analytics capability to measure all marketing campaigns and initiatives, so the team can iterate using key insights and learn from past results to drive successful future campaigns.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8+ years in B2B enterprise marketing (or related field), with a focus on technology in fashion/retail sectors.
Minimum 4+ years of experience building and managing teams
Proven track record of planning and executing multi-channel digital media strategies and campaigns focused on LinkedIn, e-mail, search, Instagram, and other leading digital channels
Experience working with creative teams to effectively bring marketing strategies to life with visually engaging static and motion graphics that help meet and exceed strategic objectivesHigh-proficiency in implementing leading martech platforms like Google Ads, Sprout Social, Iterable, HubSpot, and Notion
Data-obsessed and highly proficient with using marketing and product analytics platforms to help inform new and iterate on existing strategies
Nice to Have:
Experience in PR and communications, with skills to build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and reporters
High drive for expanding and building personal and business developement relationships within fashion, music, and/or sports industries
Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma) to be able to add additional capability and bandwidth to the creative team
Strong passion and understanding of blockchain technologies, smart contracts, decentralized applications (DApps)
