Mechanical Engineering Students for our 2025 Summer Intern Program
at our
Blairsville, PA location.
Your Day-to-Day:
Ability to work independently using basic knowledge obtained from core college courses Knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Skills or knowledge utilizing statistical analysis and data analytics to support problem solving. Ability to independently collect and compile data to support and/or execute assigned process improvement tasks. Apply quality control, statistical and problem solving techniques and work with cognizant personnel to identify and implement corrective actions and rate performance and effectiveness of plant programs. Review design and process engineering documentation to verify manufacturability and compliance to customer and quality requirements. Interface with appropriate engineering personnel to resolve implementation concerns. Interfacing with other internal cross functional groups on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments. Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Other Related Technical Discipline Required (or equivalent). Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred US Citizen or Permanent Resident Completion of Sophomore year college by May 2025 Why Westinghouse?
