You light the way. More about the roleWe’re looking for a Senior Product Manager - C&I Outdoor Stock, to join our Outdoor and Sports Lighting Team in Peachtree City, GA. In this role, you’ll support new product development and commercialization, product life-cycle management, and help the team drive activities in the market to grow revenue, expand margins, and improve the overall financial performance of product lines. This position will work across our C&I brands, which includes all categories of lighting and products within the Lumark and Lumark AP brands. Product types include wall packs, flood lights, site & area lighting, and a variety of connected lighting solutions tied to Electrical Distribution within the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sectors across North America.We’re on the lookout for forward-thinking innovators with a passion for sustainability. If you match this description, get in touch!What you’ll doRegularly collect and evaluate data on competing products, market trends, and "Voice of the Customer" to derive insights for creating successful product roadmaps, identify gaps in competitor value propositions and opportunities for enhancing product performance, set pricing strategies, and improve channel management and marketing.Establish annual and monthly product line forecasts and demand plan for units, price and margin, for existing and new productsManage brand and product line forecasted and actual revenue, price, margin, channel sell-through, agent engagement, inventory, and other indicators of performance and market shareMake recommendations for market price and commission adjustmentsAccountable for phase-in and phase-out (PIPO) of product lines as they are introduced to market and delisted at end of lifeManage down excess inventory resulting from sub-optimal PIPO or other root causeMarketing and collateral development, including specification and technical content developmentWork with marketing counterparts to plan and execute demand generation campaigns including collateral, promotions, samples, technical and value-based selling and digital communicationAs needed, conduct corrective action for quality and delivery escapesWhat you’ll needAt least 5 years professional experience related to Product Management/Product Development in the lighting industry or analogous market (technical product lines sold through distribution)Proven history of successfully launching new products through a phase-gate process and exceeding business case projections and other targets tied to product developmentPrefer experience in interchangeable component products and/or modular architectures, with ideal focus on electrical components and end marketsPrefer experience with supplier management including collaborative technology and product development, price negotiations, and supplier relationship and performance managementBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Physics, Project Management, Lighting, or related fieldMust be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and the futureYou can grow a lasting career here.
