OPM Qualifications Standards are available at Information Technology (IT) Management Series 2210 (Alternative A) (opm.gov) Specialized Experienceis experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-14.Specialized experience for this position is defined: As managing and directing the following functions: (1) the functional design, definition, and documentation of user automation requirements; user centered design activities; user acceptance testing and troubleshooting; serving as the point of contact for information technology and office automation support tools and services; and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the tools and solutions provided meet functional and legislative mandates; and (2) reviewing quality control projects to ensure the development of sound approaches to improve all phases of acceptance of contactor delivers and improving the use of information technology. Supervisory Probationary Period- If selected, you may be required to complete an initial one-year supervisory probationary period.
