Overview:
This is a rare opportunity to join a team thats developing an unprecedented lifestyle an extravagant playground combining the thrills of a lavish private club, an intriguing atmosphere, phenomenal amenities and services, and extraordinary experiences.
We seek a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payabs Receivable and Accountle processes, as well as assisting with month-end closing activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are current and respond to vendor inquiries to resolve discrepancies.
- Generate member billing statements and ensure timely payments by monitoring accounts for any delays or missed payments.
- Perform reconciliations to ensure all member payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Assist in the collection of past-due accounts and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Prepare and distribute AR aging reports.
- Assist with accruals, prepaid, and other adjusting entries.
- Ensure all month-end processes are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of accounting experience, ideally within the Golf Club, hospitality, or leisure, industry.
- Strong Excel skills --- Golf Club POS software a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Collaborative and supportive work environment, contributing to a positive and cohesive work environment.
