Job Description
As the Property Accounting Manager, you will oversee the daily accounting functions, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. You will play an integral role in the month-end close process and month-end reconciliations. Additional responsibilities include training and supervising the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, managing asset cash flows, coordinating client requests, and overseeing critical payments such as real estate taxes and mortgages. You will also be responsible for preparing financial packages, reviewing management fee calculations, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting the audit process.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in property accounting and possess proficiency in Yardi software. You should have experience managing a team, as well as a demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. A proactive mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred, but candidates with significant relevant experience will also be considered.
