Summary/Objective:

The Branch Manager is responsible for an overall profitable operation providing various service offerings to the heavy industrial, manufacturing, refining and power industries. The Branch Manager will assemble and lead the required cross-functional team to achieve agreed cost, schedule, quality, operability, and safety objectives established for the project.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute projects consistent with approved project objectives and assume accountability for overall HSE, cost, and schedule performance during development, execution, commissioning, and startup of projects.
  • Coach, mentor and document crew performance concerns and policy and procedure violations.
  • Strong commitment to safety and successfully developed a strong safety culture.
  • Follows all company policies, processes, and acts in a safe manner.
  • Responsible for branches P&L, revenue, and expenses.
  • Accountable for delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Plans and coordinates with sales, staff, purchasing, logistic, finance to ensure projects meet cost and customer expectations.
  • Manages labor to meet utilization objective and focuses on labor relations, OSHA, worker's compensation regulations/laws.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate tracking of labor costs and materials, identifies and reduces waste (e.g. material, time, equipment, etc.)
  • Formulates, develops, implements, and measures market strategies, penetration and business goals and objectives.
  • Works with Corporate Finance Team to achieve billed and unbilled revenue objectives.
  • Proven track record of people management skills.
  • Solid understanding of equipment utilization.
  • Work schedules may include extended work hours, overnight and weekends when needed.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' degree in Environmental Sciences or related disciplines preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental, industrial, chemical manufacturing, refineries, or power industries.
  • Management experience demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with working knowledge of equipment procurement and construction.
  • Cost estimating and financial accounting experience highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and a positive attitude


Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable to stand and/or walk continuously for long periods of time if necessary.
  • Physically capable to climb, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.
