Overall Purpose : Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and/or maintaining one or a combination of general accounting systems.
Pay Range: $45 - $60/HR W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. - On-site position 5 days per week
- Hours 8-5 with potential for some OT
TOP 5 SKILLS REQUIRED
- Recent accounting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Accounting degree, CPA preferred
- Experience in financial analysis, accounting processes such as journal entry preparation, account balance reconciliations
- Excellent data mining skills and financial analysis
Overall Purpose : Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and/or maintaining one or a combination of general accounting systems.
- Prepares journal entries, maintains, and reconciles ledger accounts.
- Manages record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
- Balances books and prepares profit and loss, income, and balance sheet statements.
- Oversee company receipts and disbursement reports.
- Prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns if applicable.
- Analyze and interpret reports and records for managers.
- Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- Handles broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results, and resolves problems.
- Education: Typically, a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPA Preferred.
