How You'll Contribute:
As the Regional Vice President, Sales, you will lead the distribution of EquiTrust products, partnering with marketing organizations, marketers, and producers. Your role will focus on developing relationships, implementing sales strategies, and delivering exceptional service. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to enhance market visibility and achieve business growth.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve growth, enhance market share, and promote EquiTrust's offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Deliver engaging presentations, webinars, and in-person meetings to showcase products and build trust.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide strategic insights to drive competitiveness and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, launch new products, and implement initiatives.
  • Represent EquiTrust at industry events, conferences, and strategic partner meetings.
  • Mentor and support Internal Wholesalers and Sales Support Team to align with business objectives.
  • Manage travel plans and expense reporting in compliance with corporate guidelines.
What You'll Bring:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in life and annuity industries.
Experience:
  • With a degree: 6+ years in life and annuity sales or wholesaling required.
  • Without a degree: 8+ years in life and annuity sales or wholesaling required.
  • Leadership or management experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a confident public speaking presence.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to various systems.
  • Flexibility for extensive travel, including weekends.
  • Ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must have the stamina to manage a fast-paced, high-travel role.

  • West Des Moines, IA
  • Office Location: Mostly Off-Site
  • Expected Travel: 60%
