Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Boulder, CO, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1-6 years of litigation experience, including substantial court experience, and possess the intellectual creativity required to handle complex issues of first impression. This role involves advanced legal research, general litigation matters, and high writing and research proficiency. Duties: Brief complex issues of first impression with thorough legal analysis. Conduct advanced legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Manage general litigation matters, including court appearances and case management. Negotiate and draft settlements in various litigation cases. Develop and present legal arguments effectively in court settings. Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to strategize case approaches and litigation tactics. Prepare and review legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings. Provide counsel and recommendations to clients on litigation matters. Requirements: 1-6 years of litigation experience, with a strong track record of court experience. Demonstrated intellectual creativity and ability to navigate complex legal issues. Superior writing and research skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent academic record from a top law school. Clerkship experience is preferred but not required. Education: J.D. from an accredited law school. Admission to the Bar in Colorado or eligibility to waive into the Colorado Bar. Certifications: Bar admission in Colorado or waiving into the Colorado Bar. Skills: Advanced legal research and analytical skills. Strong writing and drafting abilities. Effective negotiation and settlement skills. Proven experience with court procedures and litigation processes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle complex and novel legal issues with creativity and precision.
