Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages, develops, and implements the marketing and fan experience strategy for the Air Force Men’s Basketball, and Women’s Volleyball programs Assists with the marketing and fan experience for the Football program. Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans with the goals of generating revenue, increasing attendance, retaining season ticket base, and generating new ticket sales. Assists with the administration and execution of email marketing efforts to include new sales, renewals, and other initiatives. Assists with marketing automation tools to effectively guide a customer email journey that aligns with department goals. Oversees the game presentation on gameday for assigned sports. Responsibilities will include scripts, timelines, entertainment, presentations, music, etc. Responsible for social media oversight to include scheduling and limited content creation for assigned sports. Works collaboratively to manage sponsor fulfillment including print, gameday promotions, social media, on field/court promotions, and messaging of sponsorships. Conceptualizes the look and supervises the development of intro videos, in-game videos, sponsored content, and printed materials such as posters, schedule cards, season ticket brochures, etc. Assists with the management, recruitment, and development of the intern program. Assists with email marketing as it pertains to Falcon Athletic Fund and Sports Camps objectives. Reports directly to the Director of Marketing. Supports other sports as needed and may be required to perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in sport marketing, administration, management or a related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience in a Division I collegiate athletics marketing office or other related field is preferred. Candidate must have strong organizational, verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills. Candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with other business units, and exercise discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance. Scope of job may require evening and weekend hours. High computer literacy with strong skills and knowledge of social media usage is required. Creative design experience with Photoshop experience is desirable.
