Their decisions and actions have far-reaching effects on patient outcomes, laboratory operations, research advancements, and overall patient satisfaction. They influence patient outcomes, clinic reputation, research advancements, and the overall trajectory of assisted reproductive technologies. By ensuring that the laboratory operates at the highest standards, they contribute to the advancement of the field as a whole.

What You Will Do:

The IVF Laboratory Director is responsible for laboratory operations, manages laboratory staff, and ensures adherence to regulatory oversight (CAP, CLIA, FDA). This position should demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the IVF and Clinical Laboratory. The IVF Laboratory Director reports directly to the Corporate Lab Director. Onsite direction of a CCRM IVF and clinical laboratory. Assist as a project manager on network lab innovative technology implementation endeavors. Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, FDA and other regulatory agencies. Ensure lab is enrolled in, participating in proficiency testing, and maintain staff training and competency. Track and analyze data for ongoing QA, QC, QI. Provide hands-on work as an embryologist as needed: Aid in cell shipment, cryo billing, inventory, and other embryology related tasks. Document patient results in EMR. Perform all aspects of medium preparation (makes stock solutions, prepares medium for each case). Perform daily, weekly, and periodic maintenance on equipment, trouble shoot problems, and make decisions for repair. Clean embryos with minimal trauma to observe fertilization and able to judge fertilization by observation of pronuclei and polar bodies. Present in surgery for oocyte retrievals and able to locate all oocytes retrieved. Process semen for IVF procedures. Perform oocyte inseminations. Perform daily quality controls. Perform housekeeping tasks involved in maintaining work area. Performs ICSI. Performs fertilization checks and embryo assessments. Performs embryo biopsy and associated processes. Conducts embryo and oocyte vitrification and warming. Participates in research and continuing education as available. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Role:

Oversite of the IVF and/or Clinical laboratory and staff. What You Bring: PHD required. ELD or HCLD licensure required. 4+ years’ supervisory experience in an IVF laboratory with the knowledge of regulatory duties. The salary range represents the national average compensation for this position. The base salary offered will vary based on location, experience, skills, and knowledge. The pay range does not reflect the total compensation package. Our rewards may include an annual bonus, flexible work arrangements, and many other region-specific benefits.
