Sr Program Mngr, Online Shopping Events, Buy with Prime

We are looking for a high caliber Sr. Event Program Manager to support the strategic planning and execution of Buy with Prime shopper events. We are looking for a self-starter with a bold vision that has experience planning and executing online shopper events as well as building processes to help the team deliver more with less. A successful candidate thinks differently, translating big strategies into detailed action plans that deliver the best experience for Prime members. In our new team, we build everything from the ground up, which means working with many different stakeholders across a variety of functions, such as Sales, Product, Legal, PR, and Marketing to deliver events. Building strong processes to help build and automate deal sourcing from merchants, identify the right merchant/product selection for events and bringing different stakeholders together is a key part of this role. Thriving in our team’s start-up culture requires a growth mindset, exceptional communication skills, and an innate ability to deal with ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities • Lead program management and support execution for seasonal events (i.e. Back to School, Holiday campaigns). • Collaborate with program managers across partner teams (Sales, Product, Tech etc.) to streamline processes between teams. • Develop and automate processes to simplify product/merchant sourcing for seasonal events. • Work with marketing channel leads to develop marketing plans for events. • Create mechanisms and KPIs to measure program success. • Comfortable working in ambiguous start-up environment • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior leaders, across functions. • Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Buy with Prime is an exciting next step in our mission to help merchants of all sizes grow their business—whether on Amazon or beyond. - 8+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field - Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
