We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principle Network Engineer with CCIE certification and Juniper networking experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing design, testing, and troubleshooting of mixed-vendor enterprise networks and SD-WAN solutions in support of our government customers. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both in-person and remotely. Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols. Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy advanced network solutions using Cisco and Juniper technologies. Develop and maintain detailed network architecture diagrams and documentation. Ensure network designs meet performance, security, and scalability requirements. Network Management and Support: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues promptly. Perform network upgrades and maintenance with minimal downtime. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and meet client requirements. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and network performance. Mentor and support training of junior network engineers. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing. Qualifications:
Certifications: CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification is required. Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIE, JNCIP) are highly desirable. CompTIA Security+ or higher for IAT Level II compliance GSEC or CISSP highly desired Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in network engineering. Extensive experience with Cisco and Juniper networking technologies. Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale network solutions. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS). Proficiency with network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS). Experience with Design-level experience with virtual environments such as Hyper-V, KVM, and VMware Network deployment experience with AWS, Google, and AZURE cloud services highly preferred Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Ansible) are a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
