The KYC Operations Senior Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department to provide Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight and regulatory reporting services in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The overall objective of this role is to drive the development and management of a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Defines and documents business functions and processes, evaluates effectiveness of documented procedures, and identifies areas of improvement to best meet the needs of the Operations teams.
+ Oversees and manages special KYC projects (such as Citi KYC/Quality Enhancements, System updates, Policy changes, new initiatives, etc.) by identifying all required tasks, assigning key resources, adhering to project timelines, providing resolutions to issues encountered.
+ Orchestrates a feedback loop with Quality Assurance and Quality Control partners to review and evaluate QA fails due to procedure gaps, and provide appropriate resolutions (i.e. procedure update, training opportunity, communication need, etc.)
+ Ability to assess complex issues through root cause analysis and other analytical techniques; structure potential solutions; drive to resolution with senior stakeholders
+ Partner with global Compliance and KYC teams to interpret and implement new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and work toward developing consistent processes and practices
+ Manage and assess impact of operational implementation of technology and policy change and drives continuous improvements to quality of data and client service levels
+ Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
+ Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
+ Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
+ Ability to manage teams.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
**Qualifications:**
+ 6-10 years of experience
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
+ Master's degree preferred

**Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:**
$107,120.00 - $160,680.00
