MD&A's Repairs Division is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented On-Site, Travel Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of travel arrangements including domestic & international flights, hotel accommodations, and transportation. You will work closely with our Machining Services and Steam Path Turbine groups to ensure that all travel arrangements are made in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities include:
Research and book flights, hotels, and rental cars including negotiating rates with vendors. Create detailed itineraries for each employee's trip and communicate travel details to employees to ensure all necessary documents are in order including passports and TWIC cards (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Manage travel expenses and ensure they are within budget Handle any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise Create and issue purchase orders to support the Machining Services and Steam Path groups as needed Manage employee databases for both the Machining Services and Steam Path groups Assist with Final Job Reports for both Machining Services and Steam Path groups Additional job duties may be assigned Requirements
High school diploma or GED Proven experience as aTravel Coordinator or similar role Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and travel booking software Knowledge of travel regulations and requirements After hours and weekends required to handle any travel issues that may occur High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in an office environment is required. Previous travel scheduling experience is required.
