About the role: WEG Electric Corp. has an a great opportunity for an Inside Sales Supervisor to join our Inside Sales Team in Duluth, GA. This role will work alongside a team of supervisors and will support a specific territory. Daily tasks may include coaching and developing your team. This position plays a key role in driving revenue growth from new and existing customers, meeting company sales targets and driving customer satisfaction. This role will also include ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed and orders completed. It will be important to ramp up on the WEG product line and market to offer assistance throughout the sales cycle. Prior sales process experience handling a wide variety of sales issues such as back orders, pricing, order entry, delivery methods and shipping costs for industrial equipment is a plus. Primary Responsibilities: Has direct responsibility for all assigned team members: from a sales goals perspective; human resource perspective; training perspective and coaching perspective. Keeps the Inside Sales Manager informed on performance, operations, and team status at all times. Provides feedback and solutions for management consideration. Instills a focus on customer service to all team members. Effectively evaluates and adjusts team workload, as necessary. Reviews current processes and finds solutions to improve and streamline (eliminate no value activities). Increases effectiveness by providing tools, training, and standardized processes that support daily operations. Implements training programs and procedure changes, as necessary, to support improved team performance. Interacts with all other department Supervisors/Managers to improve relationships and communication between departments for both internal and external teams. Participates in special projects, focused on department-level improvements. Engages in direct sales activities, including receiving customer calls, preparing quotations, informing customers about pricing, ship dates, and other information pertinent to an order. Regularly mentors junior team members and trains new hires as well as promotes mentoring skills in junior supervisor(s). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, and appraising performance. Responsible for addressing employee complaints and resolving problems. Performs other duties as required by the Inside Sales Manager. Education: HS or GED required. Associates degree or equivalent in a relevant field is preferred. Knowledge / training: Strong knowledge of sales and customer service concepts. People Management. Microsoft Office. Phone etiquette for customer interaction. Technical aptitude (electrical and mechanical). Some finance experience is highly beneficial. Breadth and depth of knowledge of customer needs, industry trends, and market forces are required. Experience: 5 years of relevant experience. About WEG Electric Corp.
