About the Role:

We seek an experienced Commercial Plumbing Estimator to join our dynamic team in Orange County, CA. This role requires a professional with a proven track record in commercial plumbing estimating and a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately estimate plumbing costs for large commercial projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other related expenses.
• Utilize Trimble Autobid software proficiently for efficient and precise estimating.
• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid proposals.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve potential issues in the initial stages.
• Stay abreast of market conditions, construction trends, and supply chain fluctuations.
• Ensure all project estimations comply with Title 24, OSHPD, and HCAI requirements.
• Participate in bid analysis and contract negotiations.
• Provide recommendations for cost-saving strategies and value engineering.
• Maintain a detailed database of past projects and current bids.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing estimating.
• Strong familiarity with Trimble Autobid software.
• Extensive experience in estimating for large commercial projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Title 24, OSHPD, and HCAI regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
• Must be a local candidate with a stable work history.
