We’re building a first-of-its-kind AI matchmaker - powered by language and vision models that will introduce you to your soulmate on the first try.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop scalable, high-performance fullstack applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and NestJS.
  2. Build intuitive and responsive frontend UIs with Ant Design, optimized for speed and user experience.
  3. Develop and maintain server-side applications, integrating APIs, MySQL databases, and AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
  4. Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for continuous deployment on Vercel and AWS.
  5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate backend services with the frontend, ensuring an optimized user experience.
  6. Own the entire development lifecycle, from architecture and coding to testing and deployment.
  7. Stay current with the latest web development trends, best practices, and tools to keep our stack cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of experience in fullstack development, with a strong focus on modern web frameworks and cloud infrastructure.
  2. Proficient in React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and NestJS.
  3. Strong experience with MySQL and database design, including query optimization and schema management.
  4. Solid understanding of AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and managing cloud infrastructure.
  5. Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
  6. Familiarity with AI model integration and GPT APIs is a plus.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  8. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote and in-person teams.
  9. Willingness to work in-person in San Francisco, 5+ days a week.
  10. Open to living and working out of our shared house in SF (living there optional but preferred, working there required).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in the online dating or social networking industries.
  2. Familiarity with Vercel for frontend deployment and optimization.
  3. Strong understanding of data privacy best practices and web security.

Compensation

  1. 1%-3.5% equity
  2. Free housing + food for all meals
  3. Private bedroom in a nice, modern house in Bernal Heights with the rest of the team
