We're assisting a well-funded generative AI startup that is redefining enterprise automation with their search for a Staff Engineer/Tech Lead. This role will work onsite in their SF office.

What you'll do:

  1. Operate as technical lead to build functionality with world-class engineers: work with our growing team of top-tier technical talent to create technical breakthroughs, manage core releases, mentor junior team members.
  2. Integrate traditional SaaS with AI Applications: develop end-to-end features touching all parts of the stack to enable AI workflow and tasks.
  3. Zero-to-one product development: rapidly prototype, evaluate, and integrate new product features and custom projects for our customers.
  4. Customer obsession: Establish credibility with customers, walk them through the functionality, address their concerns.
  5. Ship clean, well-documented and secure code: implement security concepts to develop software dealing with sensitive data, work with the security teams choosing what to build vs buy.
  6. Realize technical breakthroughs to enable novel AI-first workflows: Envision, develop, and deploy scalable software applications utilizing AI and machine learning techniques.

What you'll bring:

  1. 6+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud / enterprise software. AI, machine learning, or related areas are a plus.

  3. Extremely strong communication skills to articulate technical vision (leading into a tech lead kind of role).
  4. Comfortable dealing with vague and ambiguous problems, bias to action.
  5. Strong product mindset, can put yourselves in the shoes of a user and critically think through UX to ensure releases are well rounded.
  6. Strike the right balance in thinking through and executing fast, rather than getting stuck in analysis-paralysis.
