Job Summary:
We seek an experienced Enterprise Architect with strategic mindset and strong technical skills to lead our enterprise technology architecture's design, development, and governance. In this role, you will align technology solutions with business goals, ensure scalability, security, and efficiency across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure), and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, particularly with Terraform. You will also provide architectural oversight for SaaS integrations and services, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with our digital transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Architecture Development: Define and develop the overall enterprise architecture strategy, blueprints and design patterns, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology standards.
- Cloud Expertise: Design, deploy, and manage complex cloud architectures using AWS and Azure, applying cloud best practices and ensuring optimal utilization of cloud-native services.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead the implementation and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure.
- SaaS Integration: Oversee the integration and governance of SaaS applications into the enterprise ecosystem, ensuring seamless data flow and operational continuity.
- Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security and compliance teams, establish security best practices and ensure architecture complies with industry standards, such as GDPR, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration with DevOps: Partner with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and enable automated, scalable deployments using IaC principles.
- Technology Evaluation: Research, recommend, and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance business processes and drive innovation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units to ensure that IT systems align with the overall goals of the organization and support future business strategies.
- Documentation and Governance: Create and maintain architectural documentation, governance policies, and reference models to guide engineering teams in infrastructure and software development.
- Organizational Architecture Development: Establish and sustain a collaborative cross-domain architecture community including members from solution, integration, security, data, digital and infrastructure architecture practices.
- Business Integration: Collaboratively integrate Enterprise Architecture efforts with both project management and IT delivery functions.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in enterprise architecture or cloud architecture roles, with a proven track record in designing and managing large-scale cloud environments using AWS and Azure.
- IaC Expertise: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially with Terraform. Proficiency in automating cloud infrastructure and managing infrastructure at scale.
- Cloud Platforms: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, with certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect) being a plus. Experience with both AWS and Azure is a big plus.
- SaaS Solutions: Strong experience integrating and managing SaaS applications within enterprise environments.
- Security & Compliance: Familiarity with security frameworks and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cloud networking, serverless architectures, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in influencing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: AWS and Azure Architect certifications as well as TOGAF, Zachman, DODAF, EACOE, Gartner/Meta, or other related certifications.
- DevOps Experience: Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Automation Tools: Experience with additional automation tools, such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Agile & ITIL: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL best practices.

The base salary for this role can range from $140K - $200K, based on a full-time work schedule. An individual’s ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience.
