POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
- Provides Director-level leadership in Hospital Security Services.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads, establishes standards, and maintains accountability for service priorities, service excellence and goal success. Administrative oversight for 72 staff members.
- Oversee development operating budget/finances for both revenue and expenses for 1 cost center at Harborview.
- Develops annual budgets; develops strategies, metrics, and controls to optimize use of labor and other resources. Analyzes and balances workloads.
- Oversees an effective workforce towards HMC Pillar Goals and Patients Are First. Directly supervises 5 staff including Director, managers, and office support. Implements effective training programs and annual performance evaluations tools to ensure effectiveness of staff.
- Provides leadership oversight of all regulatory functions for the department this position oversees into medical center programs that address safety and health, and directs operations to meet standards. Maintains effective response protocols for emergencies for HMC.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Healthcare/Criminal Justice or equivalent experience.
- 9 years of experience in Security Services/Public Safety leadership role.
- Advanced training or experience with technical elements including physical security systems; security dispatch operations; security protocols and training; and team supervision. Demonstrated leadership in advancing best practices in a healthcare environment.
