About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Associate, Compliance to support our regulatory and accreditation compliance efforts. The Senior Associate, Compliance will work closely with the Director of Compliance, Chief Legal Officer, and President to ensure that the college adheres to federal, state, and institutional regulations. This role involves assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures as well as company-wide training and monitoring efforts. Regulatory Compliance:
- Assist in monitoring and interpreting federal, state, and local regulations that impact the college, including BPPE, Title IX, ADA, ACCJC, Clery, and other education laws.
- Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, accreditation reports, and other compliance-related documentation.
Policy Development & Review:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and update institutional policies and procedures to meet regulatory changes.
- Provide recommendations for improving policies to align with industry standards and best practices.
- Support the drafting of compliance-related guidelines, SOPs, and resources.
Training & Education:
- Assist in the development and delivery of compliance-related training for faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Help review content for and coordinate workshops and training sessions to promote awareness of regulatory obligations and institutional policies.
Auditing & Monitoring:
- Support the internal auditing processes to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data to evaluate compliance risks and performance.
- Help monitor institutional programs and processes to ensure adherence to policies and identify areas for improvement.
Records Management:
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including regulatory filings, training attendance, and audit results.
- Assist in responding to compliance-related requests from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Work closely with various teams to gather information for compliance reporting and to assist with accreditation or regulatory audits.
- Serve as a liaison between the compliance team and other teams, ensuring clear and helpful communication regarding compliance initiatives.
- Compliance Champion: You're committed to ensuring that policies and procedures align with all relevant regulations, maintaining compliance while supporting organizational goals.
- Regulatory Expert: You stay up-to-date with ever-evolving federal, state, and local regulations, applying your knowledge to guide the institution in meeting all legal and accreditation requirements.
- Risk Mitigator: You're adept at identifying potential compliance risks and developing proactive strategies to address them, ensuring institutional integrity and minimizing exposure to penalties.
- Audit and Policy Enforcer: You excel in conducting thorough audits, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring policies are not only in place but also consistently followed to meet compliance standards.
Required:Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as law, higher education administration, public policy, or project management (preferred) 2-6 years of relevant experience in a compliance, legal, or administrative role (experience in higher education preferred).Nice to have:Relevant certifications in compliance or regulatory affairs

What you’ll get:
- A compensation package that includes a base salary ($70,000-$100,000) + equity grant
- Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
