Position Summary:
Data Ventures exists to unlock the full value of Walmart’s data by developing and productizing B2B data initiatives that empower merchants and suppliers to make better, faster decisions for the business. As part of this transformation, we’re seeking entrepreneurial individuals to help drive data productization from concept to deployment.
What you'll do:
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others.
Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs and build commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Create software design and architecture for the next software solution, communicating your ideas with the rest of the team.
Evaluate multiple solutions and analyze competing requirements, articulating tradeoffs and leading discussions with the business and development team.
Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs.
Develop and communicate business plans and priorities, removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance.
Demonstrate adaptability and support continuous learning.
Create training documentation and oversee the tasks of less experienced programmers, providing system troubleshooting support.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
Minimum Qualifications:
Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related field. Option 2: 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related field. Option 3: Master's degree in Computer Science.
Preferred Qualifications:
Data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics, Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related field. We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
