On our team of experienced professionals, you’ll use enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help develop roadmaps to transition legacy Enterprise IT solutions to a Cloud and Cloud Edge compute resources. You’ll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Office 365, Azure to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components.
As Cloud Computing Architect on our team, you will be responsible for guiding our client in the adoption of a cloud computing strategy. This includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. You will oversee application architecture, ensure requirements are document and specify deployment specifications in the Navy’s cloud environment. One of their primary objectives is to guarantee that the cloud infrastructure aligns with the business needs concerning scalability, performance, security and cost efficiency.

You Have:
8+ years of experience developing architecture drawings to support on-premises to cloud migration strategies
5+ years of experience articulating and briefing cloud adoption and supporting the cultural change associated with cloud infrastructure
5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud management and monitoring solutions
5+ years of experience reviewing, recommending, and developing on premise and cloud resource mappings
Experience with recommending and implementing a cloud change management best practice
Knowledge of cloud edge technologies, such as Azure Stack
HS diploma or GED
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional Certification
IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, Windows OS, or CCNA Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
