Program Manager / Business Solutions Architect

None Required / SECRET preferred Job Description: The ideal candidate will be expected to perform capture processes using BPMN, identify areas for improvement, understand complex business and IT solutions, coordinate with stakeholder teams across business and technical units to develop documentation and produce artifacts consumable by various audiences and stakeholders. Utilize enterprise architecture tools and processes to achieve the deliverables identified for each project. Facilitate requirements sessions with various business units, such as Human Resources, Health and Safety, Finance, Accounting, and technical areas such as Facilities Management and IT. Perform operational support for Enterprise Architecture and participate in creating deliverables for complex delivery solutions for medium to large projects. Leverage data to tell a meaningful story. The candidate performs the following specific assignments: Serve as the accountable delivery lead for engagements (Management Consulting and multi-business unit engagements) Develop an understanding of overall client strategy and how your role contributes to that strategy Develop tools and frameworks to support alignment and decision making with the client Develop/architect project approaches and solutions to achieve a client's desired outcome Demonstrate understanding of client’s business and technical environment Facilitate client discussions to drive clarity and resolution Document and understand client processes and requirements, identify gaps, and contribute to deliverables Actively engage in client sessions/discussions to capture key information and insights Execute business analysis to comprehensively capture client's business priorities and challenges Analyze client information to develop insights and deliverables (process map, gap assessment, requirements, prioritization matrix) Develop future state business models to support project initiatives Communicate concisely and clearly to clients ensuring opportunities and challenges are addressed Translate client’s business needs into business requirements, use cases, and systems interaction diagrams Demonstrate project implementation competency using project management tools Utilize best practices to design and deploy future state business models Utilize collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Confluence, JIRA, etc. Anticipate client needs to provide timely support Program Manager/Business Solutions Architect solution development and sales support responsibilities include: Build client relationships through proactive account management and effective project delivery Participate in internal knowledge capital and/or offerings development Ensure a good understanding of the sales cycle and participation in proposals Utilize area of expertise to identify and support opportunities (Pre-Sales / Sales Support) Develop relationship plans to grow current and targeted accounts Develop/architect project approaches and solutions to achieve a client's desired outcome Experience Required: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent At least seven (7) years of post-college full-time experience developing enterprise architectures At least three (3) years of experience working on Federal Government Enterprise architecture projects At least two (2) years of experience managing cross-functional teams Competency in modern software development methodologies and technical architectures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Agile / Scrum and project management methodologies Knowledge of databases/data stores, and how to access data Advanced Excel and analytical skills Motivated to independently achieve results Experience Desired: Department of Treasury or other Federal Agencies experience a plus Program Management Professional (PMP) accredited by PMBOK/PMI Local to DC a plus An Enterprise Architecture certification, such as Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF) is preferred
