Postdoctoral Associate Position - Youth Mental Health Treatment at the University of Miami Funded by these sources, the postdoctoral associate will primarily provide clinical treatment and co-supervision using the UP-C and UP-A, as well as providing clinical training and consultation using this approach. This individual will also conduct evidence-based assessment of youth and families experiencing anxiety, depression, and related symptoms and assist faculty in providing clinical and research supervision to doctoral, undergraduate andpostbaccalaureatestudents. Very strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills, good abilities to work well and pleasantly with peers and supervisees, and experience in evidence-based practices for youth are highly valued attributes. It will be expected that this postdoctoral associate participates in on-going clinical outreach efforts at events and activities in South Florida and are willing to travel to community sites for this purpose. Given the nature of the population in Miami, Spanish language skills (sufficient for diagnostic interviewing and/or therapy) are appreciated, but not required. As postdoctoral associate, opportunities exist for publications and overall experience with the conduct of clinical trials, as desired. The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to accrue hours toward licensure. Competitive salary consistent and benefits consistent with current NIH funding levels will be provided. Candidates for this postdoctoral fellowship must have a completed Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or provide documentation that they are on track to complete all doctoral requirements for the Ph.D./Psy.D. prior to the position start date. Core Responsibilities: The Postdoctoral Associate supports clinical research activities at the University, under the supervision of a faculty member, in order to advance their knowledge and/or be documented by scientific publications. Works and collaborates on clinical research studies related to field of study. Ensures the execution and implementation of clinical research and/or development in collaboration with a research team. Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories. Contributes to scientific literature and conferences, when appropriate.

Lab Specific Responsibilities Maintain all research records in a timely manner on interventions delivered Development and maintenance of RedCap surveys, or IRB applications relevant to clinical research Supervise project staff and oversee day-to-day project activities Lead weekly meetings with team members Preparation of quarterly and annual project reports to funder Other responsibilities as necessary to ensure the successful execution of projects

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology (clinical, counseling, school) or related field (in education, public health) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, in addition to a motivation for collaborative and independent research and the openness, desire, and curiosity to learn new skills and pursue new research opportunities. Those with experience and training in evidence-based psychotherapies for youth or community-based participatory models with adolescents will receive preference.
