General Description
Scripps Green Hospital and Scripps Clinic seeks an abdominal multi-organ transplant surgeon with
5+ years experience
in (deceased and living donor) liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation. Key Responsibilities Daily call either covering in-patient recipient service or organ donor procurements, and/or clinic coverage. Skills/Experience The ideal candidate will be an active transplant surgeon, American Board of Surgery certified in General Surgery (meeting UNOS requirements), with expertise in organ procurement (including normothermic liver perfusion) and in living kidney transplantation as well as deceased donor liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation. Transplant surgery training with American Society of Transplant Surgeons Fellowship certification, or its equivalent, is also required. It is preferred that the individual should have experience in living liver transplantation, hepatobiliary surgery, and robotic surgery as well.
