Overview
LMI seeks a DoD Energy Performance Analyst to provide installation energy analysis and expertise to a DoD client. Responsibilities
Evaluate DoD mission impact of various proposed installation energy initiatives, including energy conservation, energy efficiency, and alternative financing.
Support DoD client in energy management working groups.
Conduct analyses of data and develop recommendations regarding the effectiveness of agency programs and to support the customer’s oversight role for energy project development and funding.
Review and provide recommendations to update DoD installation energy policy guidance.
Assist in managing energy reporting systems and resolving discrepancies, drafting and finalizing energy management reports.
Support policies and initiatives for increasing the deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) and electric vehicle support infrastructure (EVSE).
Perform business case analyses for energy technologies and projects.
Develop analytical content for written deliverables which may include white papers, briefings, feasibility studies, research summaries, position papers, and similar analytical products in support of the client.
Prepare, review, and analyze clean energy and carbon pollution-free electricity (CFE) policies and initiatives; develop and recommend policies and processes for improvement.
Target salary range: $74,000 - $130,000

Qualifications
Master’s Degree in engineering, scientific, technical or related discipline.
Minimum of twenty years of progressively responsible experience of which at least ten (10) years is experience in program/project management of DoD utilities/energy, Federal Agency utilities/energy, clean energy deployment, and/or electric vehicles.
Five (5) + years OSD/Service staff/Joint Staff experience.
Knowledge of DOD organization and structure; experience at the OSD level.
Clearance: Top Secret (SCI Eligible).
