We are recruiting new and experienced PhD economists with strong quantitative research skills, research design experience, and knowledge of important domestic public policy areas to join the Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation Capability team. As a member of the Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation Capability team, you will apply general and specialized knowledge of principles and concepts in the field of economics to conduct research, monitoring, and evaluation at the highest levels of quality and rigor to generate evidence-based insights. We offer a diverse and collegial environment and are dedicated to finding solutions to the most pressing research challenges in health policy and public health. Our work includes:
Impact evaluation (randomized controlled trial experiments, quasi-experiments); Meta-analysis; Monitoring and surveillance; Evaluating healthcare, public health, and behavioral health programs and policies; Payment systems reform; Infectious and chronic disease modeling; Analyzing access to and quality and outcomes of healthcare services; Systematic evidence reviews; Evaluation technical assistance.
Our clients include the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration, as well as state governments and private foundations.
