Position: Senior Financial Analyst

The candidate must reside within the Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Maryland, and Northern Virginia region.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist IRD Comptroller with strategically planning for funding throughout the fiscal year. Assist with developing salary projections. Obtain access to the Financial System for review. Assist with monitoring the execution of funds. Perform Discovery and draft Standard Operating Procedures for the financial management processes. Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, MBA, or MS in Accounting - Finance. Have a minimum of 5-10 years of work experience with budget execution, formulation, and analysis. Knowledge of OMB A-11 Federal budget regulations and OMB A-123 Internal Controls. Budget Execution. Licenses and Certificates:
CIA, CPA, CDFM, or CGFM. Security Clearance Level:
Secret. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of personal computers and word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Skill in setting up and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and reports. Skill in speaking and presenting before groups. Skill in researching and compiling information for presentations. Skill in analyzing procedures and practices and developing improvements.
Physical and Environmental Conditions:
Hybrid (Onsite: T, W, TH)(Telework: M, F) Hours: 8:00 am est – 4:00 pm est. Location:
Washington, D.C.
