The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The Americas Division (AD) Technology is establishing this role to support the implementation and governance of a consistent set of Data controls owned and operated by the Information Technology (IT) department of the Client. In this role, you will leverage Data Governance subject matter expertise to guide Technology towards becoming compliant with the Bank's required data controls. The focus of the Data Management controls environment includes, but is not limited to: Data Quality, Data Lineage, Records Retention, and Data Issues Management. Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with how to identify and define Key Data Elements (KDEs), capture metadata, and develop data quality rules. This role also will support the overall AD IT Controls program overseeing, tracking, and reporting on all related implementation, remediation, and testing efforts including the work of any external resources. Role Objectives

Work with IT Data Owners to identify reports produced for Reg, Senior management, or any other management reporting. Participate directly with Data Owners, Data Stewards to identify KDEs in their respective areas using Data Governance Framework. Capture business metadata and technical metadata for the identified KDEs. Conduct data profiling activities on KDEs; Define Data Quality Controls business requirements. Analyze Data Quality issues, capture issue metadata, and log into DQIM. Ensure timely and accurate responses to and the prioritization of requests made to their entity by the CDO and the EDGC. Work with Data Architecture team to attribute KDE in the logical model, develop Physical Data Structures, document implemented abbreviated physical data names, definitions, and data types. Confirm IT data is compliant with Record Retention policy of the firm. Provide support and expertise to other AD IT Controls streams of work in coordination with other AD IT Controls team members. Qualifications and Skills

2-3 years of experience governing data with exposure to data definition creation, data quality rule creation, data issue management, and root cause identification. Experience interfacing with Internal Audit and external stakeholders (e.g., US regulators) a plus. Strong communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with DQIM, Collibra, Denodo, and other data management industry tools. Understanding of Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs). Experience executing control testing, reporting, and tracking control remediation. Ability to influence responsible parties (including senior management) working in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lines of defense regarding Data controls requirements and remediation activities.
