JOB OVERVIEW
The Information Technology (IT) Operations and Financial Management Director is a member of the IT leadership team responsible for driving spend and budget forecast accountability to maintain accuracy in monthly forecasts and project future cost and savings opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee IT Operations and Financial Management working with IT management.
Lead the planning and analysis for various IT initiatives for the department.
Lead business case development and financial and technology analysis.
Collaborate with IT department leaders to track spend and forecast future costs.
Drive Close reporting process for IT.
Serve as a key stakeholder for the Finance Department and cross-functional teams within IT and Asset Management on all IT G&A, Capital Expenses, and Shared Cost budgeting and spend.
Partner with the Finance department to design, guide, and implement a new framework for managing the IT budgets, spend, and forecasting.
Own a long-range plan for IT spending in partnership with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Interface with business leaders and executive leaders to maintain and build relationships and understand IT’s impact on their business functions and organizational strategies.
Maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state/province or other regulating authorities as applicable to this role to ensure that Sunrise standards are always met.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, information technology or related discipline
10+ years of related finance experience, preferably in an enterprise environment
Proven experience partnering with IT sub-departments to help focus investments on high Return on Investment (ROI) opportunities with maintaining the ability to connect the organizational and financial strategy
Expertise in business case creation including ROI and Net Present Value (NPV) calculations
Experience with IT cost and budget presentations to Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members and ownership groups
Experience leading, developing, and overseeing financial portfolios
Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving targets
