Senior Tax and Treasury Analyst

What You’ll Be Doing
Tax:
Prepares and analyzes annual global tax provision calculation and quarterly tax reconciliation workpapers in accordance with ASC 740. Prepares and reviews multi-state multi-entity, consolidated and combined domestic federal and state tax return calculations, and manages external consultants to finalize and file WD-40 Company’s US tax filings. Leads federal and state tax audits and responds to tax notice to ensure compliance. Gathers and analyses necessary information to ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and accounting for income tax principles. Assesses and implements changes in GAAP disclosure requirements for accounting for income tax (ASC 740) and drafts necessary disclosures. Treasury:
Assists in implementing new and more effective treasury products or procedures mainly in the areas of bank account management, working capital and cash management. Monitors and investigates global foreign exchange fluctuations in applicable jurisdictions. Partners with executive leadership and external parties to create and lead weekly share repurchase program ensuring compliance with approved repurchase plan. Monitors and leads quarterly discussions with executive leadership for debt covenant compliance. Performs other related activities as needed to support the Company's objectives, including completing insurance applications, economic census reports, and other required fillings. What You’ll Bring To The Role
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics. Master's Degree in related field or MBA is desirable but not required. CPA is a plus. Minimum of 4 years performing tax/treasury analysis or equivalent. Must have public (listed) company experience. Big 4 experience is preferred. Demonstrated ability to conceive, construct and communicate tax and financial models. Experience in business process analysis / flow is a plus. Experience in multi-entity, multistate, and international corporate tax filings. Experience with complex Excel models and with ERP systems, as well as fixed asset reporting (e.g. – D365, FAS, InsightJet, and Medius). Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX regulations as they apply to tax and treasury areas. Ability to write clear and concise internal/external communications. Ability to work autonomously and independently, as well as cooperatively with individuals at all levels and locations in a team environment. Ability to manage deliverables while balancing multiple demands, competing priorities and deadlines. Ability to take initiative while seeking appropriate guidance. Total Rewards
$95000– $110000 /year base salary plus 10% - 15% profit-sharing contribution to your retirement account. Salary is determined by multiple factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
