We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to be an integral member of the Finance & Accounting team and partner closely with leaders across the organization to achieve the company’s strategic priorities and build scalable business processes. Responsibilities are focused on general ledger accounting, financial analysis, business process improvement, ad-hoc analysis, and much more! The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader and well-rounded performer who thrives in a fast paced, high growth environment with the ability to think strategically, dive into details, and handle tactical issues as they arise.
Responsibilities
Manage and support the monthly and annual financial close process Review and post journal entries prepared by Staff and Senior Accountants Maintain accuracy of the general ledger Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes Continued focus on improving system efficiency and business practices Participate in financial projects including upgrades to ERP Ensure compliance with internal control practices and policies Collaborate with, and prepare schedules for external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance Interacts at all levels with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient, and accurate month end close Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses, and various ad hoc analyses Assist in preparing summary feedback of financial statement variances General accounting areas include but are not limited to fixed assets, lease accounting, intercompany accounting, accounts payable, prepaids, & treasury. Oversee a team of 2-3 accountants Qualifications
7-9 years of relevant experience 2-3 years of experience in a managerial capacity Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business field CPA required In-depth knowledge of US GAAP Experience with NetSuite is preferred Ability to execute deadline driven processes in a dynamic environment $130,000 - $145,000 a year
