CIBC.com The Compliance Advisor will be instrumental in supporting the execution of the Fair and Responsible Banking program with a strong focus on Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Fair Lending expertise. This role involves monitoring compliance with key Fair and Responsible Banking regulations including CRA, Fair Lending, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Service Member Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and Military Lending Act (MLA). KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Perform various fair lending and CRA monitoring on a quarterly and annual basis including data analysis of mortgage, consumer, small business and/or commercial loans to identify significant variances to fair lending compliance regulations and standards Conduct in-depth analysis and generate compliance related reports for banks’ lending portfolios Maintain proficiency in CRA and Fair Lending WIZ or other lending analysis tools Manage the annual submission of HMDA and CRA Loan Application Registers (LAR). Conduct periodic data integrity checks and manage large data sets Stay abreast of relevant fair and responsible banking laws and regulations and industry trends. Provide guidance to Business Units on regulatory interpretation of Fair and Responsible Banking regulations and advise on necessary actions to ensure compliance. Assist in the creation and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures ensuring alignment with current regulations and effective communication across the organization Assist management with key decisions by analyzing relevant data and providing insightful input Manage the reporting of program status and analytical results using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint to create dashboards and effectively communicate findings Provide Fair and Responsible Banking program information for presentations to senior management and various oversight committees, including the board of directors. At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $86,600- $144,300for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
