As part of our Worldwide Operations Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) group, you will be responsible for implementing strategies and processes that enable the business to grow, increase efficiencies, and drive innovation while improving customer experience. You will be driving key initiatives, developing solutions with IS&T partners that support a broad cohesive operations supply chain strategy. Most important, you will be free to innovate, challenge the norms and drive transformation. The ideal candidate will have deep process re-engineering experience and be self-directed, motivated, and comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment. Experience with SAP Sales & Distribution functionality, Material & Inventory Management, Logistics, and leveraging S/4Hana transformation for optimizing global supply chain and B2B fulfillment processes and technology is preferred.
Description
You will be responsible for leading and identifying business process re-engineering opportunities, solutions architecture, and working with partners to implement the solution in SAP and other enterprise tools. This role requires a deep understanding of core operations throughout the supply chain to manage complex, global initiatives supporting a wide range of initiatives. In BPR, we work closely with the business teams to become functional leaders in Quote to Cash process, including allocation planning processes, inventory management, order management including optimization and fulfillment, reverse logistics, Procurement to Pay, etc. Identify transformation opportunities as current SAP system migrates to SAP S/4Hana platform. Then partner with business and IS&T to lead projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle - from mobilization to problem definition, scoping, requirements, design, business readiness, testing, and implementation. Focus on strategic POCs, technical and functional assessments, projects related to supply chain transformation initiatives. Assist, drive, and deliver plans for S/4HANA Platform migration. Negotiate with cross-functional teams and business partners to remove barriers and get results, without compromising the overall quality of the end deliverable. Engage with leadership, business partners, and engineering teams to develop a project timeline, key achievements, and a communication plan. Prepare the business for the change: Ensuring from the very start of the project, there is a change management plan in place. Ensure project objectives have been met and proper project closure with complete lessons learned. Understanding and analyzing the business problems at the root and not just solving for the symptom is critical to the success of this role. You will focus on recommending process innovation and efficiencies through process analysis and building prototypes. Use cases, observations, industry trends, standard methodologies (Design Thinking, Six Sigma, Lean), groundbreaking technology and process improvement ideas to challenge the status quo and deliver extraordinary customer-focused solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Information Management (e.g., MIS), or Systems Engineering
5+ years of experience leading strategic programs, combined with the ability to implement at tactical project-level activities and tasks.
Experience leading transformation projects in Quote to Cash process, Inventory Management, Logistics execution, and developing innovative solutions in the SAP S/4Hana platform and application
Deep understanding of Business Process engineering and Platform Migrations
Has led efforts in solutions designing across various functions - that is scalable, stable, and efficient with a focus on customer/business voice
Demonstrated competence in functional design and solutions architecture
Experience implementing innovative Supply Chain solutions using Machine Learning, Optimization, etc.
Has led teams and change management strategies in driving process improvement projects
Ability to establish and maintain trust, credibility and build strong relationships
As driver in transformation projects, influence others and move toward a common vision or goal, including leading multi-functional workshops to drive consensus
Good communication and presentation skills, flexible, open working style and an ability to establish trust and credibility quickly
Self-motivated individual who thrives working in a global, matrix, fast-paced environment
Experience working on projects with teams based outside the US including international engagements
Experience in SDLC project management and analysis including scoping/timeline management, documenting use cases, process flows/swim lane diagrams, requirements (BRD) etc, UAT, change management etc

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,200 and $209,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
