Job Description - VP - Head of Technology, Innovative Medicine LATAM (2406222680W) Johnson and Johnson is currently recruiting for a Vice President - Head of Technology, Innovative Medicine (LATAM) within the Johnson & Johnson Technology (JJT) organization and may be based in Miami, FL or Sao Paulo, Brazil. The VP, Head of Technology LATAM will provide strategic leadership and technological direction of the Innovative Medicine group within Latin America serving as a critical point of contact for business to IT execution implementing a vision of how groundbreaking technology can transform the customer experience. Additionally, this position leads globally the Technology workstream initiatives enabling innovation on customer experience (centricity), upskilling of the workforce and talent development. This Regional VP is responsible for the selection and implementation of suitable and innovative technology to streamline internal operations, helping optimize their strategic benefits through required capabilities. As the Head of the Product Lines organization for Innovative Medicine LATAM, they will ensure technological capabilities are in place, driving and supporting the commercial business imperatives. Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Defining country level technology strategy and negotiating technology options with business partners for all therapeutic areas and prioritizing the business project portfolio. Leading a large portfolio of the following key business imperatives: Data Analytics, Data Management and Data Science. Digital/ Multichannel/Innovation (JNJ Pro, Marketing Cloud). Sales - Customer Engagement & Sales Force Effectiveness (PSP, HCP). Territory Management, Bid & Tender and Sales Force Compensation. HEMAR (Market Access/Contract & Payers Management). Medical Affairs & Customer Support (with GMA). Responsible for crafting the strategy of workstream initiatives for the Innovative Medicine sector, globally. Leading cross-regional and functional teams that will work on the operationalization of the strategy to the different regions. Leading the talent development strategy globally as per High Performing Team (HPT) design, partnering with the Regional Talent Champions, HR and Regional JJT Heads. Evolving, as needed Product Groups (PGs), considering HPT guidelines globally across all regions for Innovative Medicine. Drive strategic change across the LATAM organization at the intersection of innovation, technology and business. Transform patient and HCP experience, delivering value with Janssen and 3rd party programs. Participation in various leadership teams and committees, including leading regional/global initiatives, Patient Programs, Launch Excellence and Strategic Markets, Americas IT Strategy and LATAM IT leadership team on communication strategy. Qualifications Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required in Computer Sciences, Engineering or Business Administration or related subject area; an advanced degree (MBA or MS) is preferred. A minimum of 15 years of IT experience is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience leading complex business and IT projects/programs. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare or government within emerging markets is strongly preferred. Deep understanding of business drivers/processes and ability to relate priorities to associated technology investments. Experience working across multiple levels of an organization, knowledge of trends (e.g., digital, big data) and expertise driving adoption to improve IT. Prior experience driving a technology strategy for a line of business. Ability to synthesize leadership and customer inputs into decisions, able to represent customers/users and translate business process needs into IT solutions. Capacity to work at an abstract level and continuously “pivot” to arrive at the highest impact solution for the customer. Strong leadership skills, critical thinking abilities and innovative approach. Previous global leadership and multi-country experience is required. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is a plus. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skills. Experience leading complex projects involving multiple countries and organizations. Up to 25% domestic and international travel will be required, primarily within LATAM region. For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $194,000 to $356,500 USD. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
