Position Summary: The Principal HRIS Technical Analyst is responsible for providing technical leadership in driving the HR systems (Workday) ecosystem/architecture and resulting roadmap for enterprise HR solutions. They will be responsible for partnering across the People Success team, Finance, and IT- Infrastructure and Cyber Security to ensure the end state solutions meet the standards, design and implementation approaches for our workforce.
Responsibilities:
Combine HR business acumen with technical skills working closely with stakeholders to architect high quality people focused solutions to complex problems.
Independently lead and coordinate technical reviews of proposed solutions (architectural, reporting, security, compliance, etc.) to ensure data integrity and assess risk impact of the change.
Build Workday Reports (i.e., Simple, Advanced, Matrix, Composite, etc.) for dashboards and metrics that offer strategic insights to functional leaders.
Lead and maintain the Design, Build, Test, and Deployment of Workday solutions and integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, Extend, Web Services, Prism Analytics, Custom Dashboards and BIRT Reports.
Drive and manage security configuration, strategy, roles, permissions, and domains in compliance with established SOX controls.
Talent SME and primary support across Workday Talent platform (Recruiting, Learning, Talent Optimization, Performance & Development, Succession Planning).
Troubleshoot and support stakeholder inquiries.
Be an active member on the Workday Community to keep a pulse on new features, product defects, and advocate for desired enhancements.
Manage, create, and maintain technical documentation, data flows and test results.
Support system upgrades, changes, and modifications, including evaluation of Workday releases to ensure security access and integrations are functioning as expected.
Drive and implement emerging technology solutions and build organizational capabilities in areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Automation.
Mentor and guide teammates to promote knowledge sharing and team growth.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or information systems. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
6+ years of experience working with Workday Human Resources modules with a focus on HCM, Recruiting, Talent and Performance Management with a strong understanding of Payroll, Compensation, Absence Management, Benefits.
4+ years of experience working with Workday report writer, business processes, calculated fields, and security groups.
Demonstrated expertise of security and data privacy standards, data governance and integration/development standards and best practices.
Experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), XML, XSLT, JSON, and Workday Web Service) and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards), PECI/PICOF integrations, Workday Studio, Custom Reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, PRISM, BIRT, or RaaS solutions, etc.) including the development of complex calculated fields.
Experience working in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Additional Skills/Experience/Requirements:

Experience with designing, developing, and implementing Workday Extend application desired.
Experience as a technical lead on a large full life-cycle implementation of Workday HCM.
Experience with ML, AI, or Virtual Assistant Technologies.

Ability to travel up to 10% domestically to attend systems training.
Compensation and Benefits: Target Base Pay Range:
$120,000.00 - $165,000.00
