DevOps Engineer Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer with 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and cloud services. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our applications and services. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including converting classic pipelines to YAML. Collaborate with development teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements. Monitor system performance, reliability, and security, and implement improvements. Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner. Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. Document processes, configurations, and best practices for internal use. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation and management. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP is a plus). Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python). Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in Azure or other cloud platforms. Experience with other CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
