The Investment and Capital Markets Business Technology Office is currently searching for a software developer and DevOps candidate who is highly talented and motivated. Is this you? Read on!

The Capital Markets division supports the liquidity of the mortgage markets and makes funding more available by purchasing mortgage-related securities guaranteed by Freddie Mac and other financial institutions in its investment portfolio. The Business Technology Office supports all of the technology for this division. Your Impact:

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and building next generation credit risk portfolio management tools in Freddie Mac’s new AWS cloud-based high performance computing environment. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative subject or business area; equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.

At least 5 - 7 years of hands-on software development, testing, and delivery experience, including partnering with internal and external groups is critical.

At least 2 years’ experience working at a senior level, comfortable with communicating concepts and setting expectations for analytic tools and products.

Hands-on experience in agile development and should be familiar with project management and SCRUM process.

Demonstrated ability in Java 8.x, N-Tier RESTful Webservices/Angular JS/JQuery, XML, Javascript, SpringBoot.

2+ years of AWS Cloud and Grid computing experience.

2+ years of UNIX Shell Scripting/Perl/Python experience.

site. This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $182,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
