The
Analyst – Cell Molecular Biologist
is responsible for maintaining cell cultures, automation, RNA isolation/qPCR, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment. Duties and Responsibilities:
Check and follow daily work plan Complete work processes within designated deadlines Perform all tasks and procedures in a team environment with daily supervision Assist with preparation of specimens and instruments for testing as assigned (e.g., printing labels, uncap/cap specimen tubes, aliquot specimens, prepare racks, worklists, enter/scan specimens, and load automated instruments). Perform simple data collection and entry to support the analysis of nanomedicine formulations. Clean, organize, and maintain work area and glassware (e.g., refrigerators, freezers, and supply cabinets, as needed). Participate in the laboratory inventory program that provides adequate inventories of reagents and supplies. Follow the guidelines set forth by clients and Company Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies and procedures. Comply with clients’ and Company management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies. Perform other essential tasks, projects, and responsibilities as required. Cell culture maintenance, laboratory automation, RNA isolation/qPCR, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment. Other duties as defined by Manager, department needs, and workload. Problem-solving and process improvement ability. Possess and demonstrate written and verbal communication skills. Organization and time management skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks. Ability to prioritize individual workload to meet or exceed deadlines. Individual and team work ethic. Basic computer skills: Windows, Word & Excel. Technical aptitude. Adheres to company values and maintains best laboratory practices including aseptic technique. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Science An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of the above.
